Distinction Hair by Michelle J is based out of Houston, Texas and was founded in 2016 by Michelle Johnson and William Gillespie.William Gillespie helped Michelle Johnson see the vision,gave motivation and helped build Distinction Hair ground up.With Michelle being diagnosis in 2008 with Rheumatoid Lupus and one of her symptoms being thinning of hair and hair loss she started to feel inadequate as a Woman and self conscious about her appearance and beauty as hair loss was occurring. With GOD,Prayer,Faith and a strong support system she started to truly understand that true beauty comes from within and that true beauty is of distinction.So after turning to wearing hair pieces, installments and wigs she wanted to step out in development of ways to help other Woman in her same shoes or whom have or is experiencing hair loss or thinning, woman whom love to dress up their appearance, those whom love hair and the lifestyle of it.So Distinction Hair was birth. Distinction Hair is here to help women feel more confident about who they are and how they look for true beauty comes from within and your overall beauty is not of extinction but of Distinction having the will to dare to be different.
